About

Hummigh Brid Studios

Gina Malfetano was born in 1976 in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. She developed a love of art making from a very early age and later received her BFA in Painting and Art Education from Montserrat College of Art in 1998. In her early career, she became a Special Education teacher on the Northshore of Massachusetts, met her husband Adam, then moved to the Hudson Valley in 2007 where she started a family and became a full-time homeschool mother of two. While she has always loved making art of all kinds, including drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, pottery, and textile art, her focus and passion have been homeschooling and art-making on her own and with her children in her home studio custom-built by Adam.
